What Will China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi and U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan Discuss In Beijing This Week?
Well, we can imagine there will be a rather serious 3 days of high level talks between Wang Yi and Jake Sullivan in China taking place right now.
From my point of view, progress on China continuing to help the U.S. with its fentanyl problem makes sense, but I think the best we can hope for is that the United States will actually start treating China like the peaceful country it is and that now dominates world trade & manufacturing in, and that the United States very much needs to cooperate with based on mutual respect & a proper foreign policy rooted in diplomacy not threats, bullying, war & sanctions.
Not a chance, though, right? I mean seriously, who expects that will happen.
A week after Sullivan leaves, no matter what happy sounding talking points are released regarding trade, cooperation and maintaining stability, the U.S. will most likely announce another round of sanctions, tariffs and add a few more Chinese companies to one of its blacklists. That's what they always do.
Beijing's patience and restraint is remarkable and wise. When you're winning, let the other guy keep shooting himself in the foot. Beijing easily understands the visit is mostly to cater to America's pre-Presidential election voters and anything the United States says isn't to be trusted because frankly, they obviously don't want to be nice to anyone. Not China, not Europe, not Africa, not the Middle East, and surely not Australia who now owes over $300 billion for AUKUS nuclear submarines I guarantee you will never even be delivered.
The only country the United States is a true, loyal, eternally pledged friend to?
Zionist Israel.
And to their only friend on this otherwise lovely planet, they send an endless supply of what?
Bombs to make more war.
I thought we might step back in history as we consider how the United States should be treating China on the world stage if sanity, diplomacy & reason were possible.
Let's start by going back to 1950. If the United States hadn't refused to leave the Korean Peninsula causing the Korean War, China wouldn't have ever been involved in the first place, entering the war 6 months later as they did. At least three million dead that time.
Most people don't realize that post WWII the Korean peninsula was ONE territory. That's right, I'll bet you didn't know the entire peninsula was united and they voted together for Russian, Japanese, Chinese and U.S. forces to LEAVE the peninsula.
The U.S. refused and installed Syngman Rhee as their puppet who famously stated he would cause the war, start the war, and in fact, that's exactly what Syngman Rhee did. All because the United States refused to leave. Hmm.
Now let's move to the 60s & 70s. If the United States hadn't started the Vietnam War as well, China wouldn't have ever been involved in the first place. There never would have been a Sino Vietnam War in 1979. China didn't start the Vietnam War. Another pointless war with all its bloodshed, agent orange & misery.

Fast forward to this week, Jake Sullivan thinks he's going to arrive here in China and tell Wang Yi that China needs to stop being an aggressive threat to the Philippines (they've squirted water at Philippines fishing vessels several times, oh the horror...) and stop threatening to invade Taiwan (which they've never done and never would do. I cringe every time I hear someone say "China might invade Taiwan" ).
These accusations are no more than western propapaganda media headlines to entertain American voters, to excuse U.S. bullying attempts to contain China, U.,S. attempts to stick its nose in the Asia Pacific region where it doesn't belong, and the sale of more weapons for profits.
Wherever the U.S. pursues its malevolent foreign policy, more military and bloodshed seems to follow. I expect no change to this pathetic state of affairs that has the entire world traumatized as we witness it.
So my advice to Jake Sullivan is to understand that China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi isn't going to tolerate being insulted by these endless propaganda talking points, especially while you are here for your first meeting with him on Chinese mainland soil.
Try showing some respect to the peaceful superpower country you've designated an enemy.
Maybe don't sell any more weapons to their province Taiwan and respect their territorial claims in the South China Sea which haven't changed one inch in decades.
Respect Jake, respect. Mutual cooperation to make the entire world a better place without killing scores of innocent civilians.
Call me crazy.
Stop trying to paint China as aggressive, evil, a threat, a warmonger. Since its founding in 1949 The People's Republic of China has NEVER started a war with any other nation. Tell CNN to make that their next headline.
Here is something you ought to be saying to the Chinese govt: THANK YOU for not killing anyone, thank you for not attacking any other nation in almost half a century. That's a good thing for all manking. Then offer your respect, appreciation & admiration that a nation could rise up to become a global superpower WITHOUT slaughtering millions of innocent civilians other nations.
Do I sound snarky & bombastic? Yea, and for damn good reason. I'll bet its easy for you to understand why.

Israel is doing exactly what America's ruling class wants it to do while giving it some level of deniability. The class descended from genocidal slavers cum opium traders. It's a tool for them, up and including outsourcing the corruption of both Federal and State/local government, another level of deniability. When the cost of outsourcing to Israel is no longer worth the costs, it will be turned on as if it was a member of America's working class, instead of a valued comprador.
Thank you for the insight Mario 👍❤
